At Dohrn
Insurance Training, Inc. we offer certified pre-licensing courses in the
following five licensing authorities:
1) Life -
certified by the Illinois Department of Insurance for 15 hours of pre-licensing
credit. This license entitles the
holder to sell such insurance contracts as all non-variable life insurance,
universal life, whole life, term and annuities (non-variable).
2) Accident and Health
- certified by the Illinois Department of Insurance for 15 hours of
pre-licensing
credit. This license entitles the
holder to sell such insurance contracts as medical expense, basic plans,
disability income and long term care (in Illinois a 6 hour Traditional Long
Term Care continuing education course to be allowed to sell long term care
policies- see Continuing Education course descriptions for more details).
3) Property
- certified by the Illinois Department of Insurance for 15 hours of
pre-licensing
credit. This license entitles the
holder to sell such insurance contracts as Homeowners, Dwelling and Property,
Flood Insurance and many forms of Business Property.
4) Casualty
- certified by the Illinois Department of Insurance for 15 hours of
pre-licensing
credit. This license entitles the
holder to sell such insurance contracts as General Liability, Personal
Liability, Automobile and Workers Compensation.
5)
Personal Lines -
certified by the Illinois Department of Insurance for 25 hours of
pre-licensing credit. This license entitles the holder to sell all
property and casualty contracts to individuals only, including dwelling,
homeowners forms, flood insurance and automobile. The Property and
Casualty license includes the ability to market personal lines products, but
the Personal Lines license will not allow the licensee to market property and
casualty contracts related to commercial (business) lines sales.
Each Line is certified for 15 hours of credit and may be completed
either by taking a ONE DAY seminar or completely by the self study method.
Dohrn Insurance Training offers both methods to you, but most people
choose the self study method. Both methods require that the student
successfully complete an open book multiple choice exam. Our study guides
and practice exam questions have helped over 20,000 Illinois residents become
insurance producers! Our materials are concise and follow precisely the
Illinois state examination outline. There simply is no easier,
more convenient or economically way to help you pass your licensing exam than to
select the DOHRN method.
Please note: Illinois does not allow
pre-licensing course credit to be utilized as continuing education credit.
