ORDERING A PRELICENSING COURSE

ONE DAY SEMINAR

Our Prelicensing instructors are knowledgeable and experienced when helping direct you to likely test concepts in class.  The main clauses of an insurance contract are explained and the differences between policy types are highlighted.  Each one day seminar also has an Illinois insurance law review and successful testing strategies are suggested.  The one day format is designed to help clarify the material for you and to enable you to maximize your valuable study time.  All seminars are offered on Sunday.  Please refer to the Prelicensing Course Schedule, Registration Form and Prelicensing Seminar Cancellation, Transfer and Refund Policy for more details.

Early Registration and payment is encouraged since space is limited to the first 24 paid registrants.  Pre-registration of a Sunday seminar is required by noon of the Friday before and is only official if we contact you to verify your registration. Walk-ins on the day of class are welcomed but are required to pay and additional $25 at the door and will not be registered and seated if the class is at capacity. 

All prelicensing programs are available for “IN-HOUSE” training if your group is of sufficient minimum size and paid in advance.  We can also show you how to use our self-study materials to run your own agency or company prelicensing training program. Call for details and ask for Doug Dohrn.

SELF-STUDY:

When you select a correspondence prelicensing program, your materials are shipped to you for review on your own.  You must complete and pass the enclosed open-book examination to receive certification.

If you wish to transfer from self-study to a seminar program, you may do so by registering in a seminar and you will only be required to pay the difference in cost between the self-study prelicensing program you purchased and the seminar program you wish to purchase

Include everything: Prompt, one business day grading and once weekly reporting of your open book test verifying your successful completion of our state certified prelicensing program.  Shipping is always included, as well. There is never a hidden cost with Dohrn Insurance Training!

4 WAYS TO REGISTER:

1) BY MAIL - complete the attached registration form and return it with payment.  Money order or credit card is preferred if you desire fast course completion and certification reporting to the Illinois Department of Insurance.  If paying by check please allow 10 business days from the time we receive your payment for the check to clear before we will certify a completed course.

2) BY FAX - using VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX or DISCOVER,

fax to (847) 455-1153 and include the credit card number and expiration date with the completed registration form.  You must complete the form yourself and sign where required.  Sorry, but for your protection and ours we do not take verbal credit card orders over the phone.  All seminar registration forms using a credit card as payment also require the completion and signing of an additional form, "DOHRN INSURANCE TRAINING, INC.  PRELICENSING SEMINAR CANCELLATION, TRANSFER AND REFUND POLICY."

3) IN PERSON - stop in our office during business hours, Monday through Friday

from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and register.

4) ONLINE @ WWW.DOHRNIT.COM – just visit our website and access all of our prelicensing materials without any charges or hassles.  YOU PAY ONLY WHEN YOU FINISH THE COURSE!

All you do is fax or mail your completed exam answer sheet, payment and certification information to us when you are finished.  This is the lowest cost method for you to complete prelicensing.
